Antimatter

From the school we are taught a subject known as SCIENCE. For some its one of their favorite subjects. In science we come to know about the three states Matter. Solid, Liquid and Gaseous. There is no other state known to man except these 3 states. I also remember the example of ice, which changes to water in liquid state, and further when boiled changes to Gaseous state. So, man cannot even think of a different type of matter.
Here the question of Antimatter arises. From the word we come to know that it is Anti-matter. Something which is the reverse, the negative of Matter. There are many instances of antimatter in fiction novels. Such fiction novels do keep us on the chair for hours as we go on reading. But are there people who are trying to create antimatter. The consequences of such a thing could be the best or the worst. Antimatter if we consider for a moment will be such a thing that could suck in any type of matter. I mean if for example a crazy fellow does develop antimatter, then how is he going to preserve it. But yeah there are people who love to do such crazy things. Ever heard of a black hole? Actually no one knows about the state of a black hole. But it sure does is a ball of vacuum that sucks everything that comes in its way. Black hole could be according to me a antimatter. Till now no one has found the actual state of a black hole. Some scientists say that the black hole is created when a star gets destroyed. Some times Super Nova also causes black hole. The name might be small but black holes are recorded to be the size of Earth. And they move.
Antimatter and a black hole can be similar in their types. Only the difference could be in their sizes. No one knows where the objects go when a black hole sucks them. People have their own say on this. Many theories are taken into account considering a black hole. But no decisive conclusion is brought to light. Some say that the black holes in space open act as a window to another dimension. Our antimatter is the same I think. There are many people who love to do such crazy stuff. They like to search for the aliens on earth and stuff like that. I have not read about antimatter produced anywhere. But yeah surely one day a psycho will surely produce some grams of antimatter just like the CLONE concept.

RED due to HEAD

Ok...............world cup 2006 is over. Italy is the world champion. And yes, Italy deserves that. Italy has played really fantastic. There was no effect of the recent SERIE A scandal on the Italian players. People were shocked when they heard about SERIE A scandal that rocked ITALY. This scandal haunted Italy for more than 2 months now. But still Italy emerged in their BLUES and knocked out the other Blues who were FRANCE. Now we come to the point. I will try to create some atmosphere and then present my views.
The Final countdown starts. Two teams with high hopes come on the field. One is ITALY and the other is France. Italians are in their blue jerseys and France is in their white jersey. Italy is going for their 4rth World Cup whereas France is going for their 2nd world Cup title. There is one player in France who has the biggest determination of all. Its ZINEDINE ZIDANE. It is his last match he will ever play for his country. In the last match against Portugal It was Zidane's penalty kick that took France to the finals. So all eyes around the world are there on ZIDANE. What's Zidane going to do? Will he give a pass to Henry? These are the types of questions that are the topic of the day for all France fans. The same questions came into my mind too. Being a Real Madrid fan I am also a fan of Zidane. Everyone's talking about Zidane. His play against the mighty Brazil and also his name being recommended for the Fifa player. The game starts with a bang. Both the teams are searching for a hole in the opposite team. At the 6th min Malouda is being tripped down by Italian defender Materazzi. IT'S A PENALYTY FOR FRANCE. And who could better take it. IT'S THE ONE AND ONLY ZIDANE. Zidane steps up to the ball, BUFFON dives to his right. It's a chip by Zidane, which rattles, on the inner side of the bar and bounces inside the box. FRANCE lead 1-0. It's bursting crackers in PARIS.
After this goal there are many attacks from both the teams. But then from a corner kick its Materazzi scoring from a perfect header. France goalkeeper Barthez could not save it. The score is 1-1. Now in the last minutes the France coach makes some substitutions. Henry and Ribery are taken off and Wiltord and Trezeguet come on. And after some time the number 10 France master ZIDANE knocks down Italian defender Materazzi with his head. Zidane shamefully bangs his head on the footballer' s chest. Referee has seen it. And after some seconds RED CARD IS BEEN SHOWN TO ZINEDINE ZIDANE. It's a decision made by the referee and ZIDANE has to walk off the field. What a shame for ZIDANE. The last game of Zidane's career is ending with a RED card due to his HEAD BANG.
MY VIEWS:- It is said that the person who Zidane knocked down uttered some abusive words to him from back. But I think that if Zidane could have kept his cool he could have helped France to victory. As Trezeguet penalty hit the bar in the last Penalty shootouts, Italy won world cup. Just imagine if there was Zidane instead of Trezeguet then what would have happened. All of the France penalty takers had scored except for Trezeguet. I don't understand why Zidane did such a horrible thing when France needed him the most.
But yes obviously Zidane's move was really shameful for him to do.

SUPERMAN HAS INDEED RETURNED

Just came back after watching "SUPERMAN RETURNS". It's indeed a fantastic movie. Being a Superman fan all of my expectations from this movie were fulfilled. Brandon Routh has done an amazing job of playing the man of steel. Superman was declared dead in 1992 comics which was sad. Many people criticized the DC comics for such a step. I watched Christopher Reeves play the character of superman. Reeves had his own type of charisma and flair in his movies. His charm took us with him. His smile flew around the world. I was crazy about the Superman movies at that time. Still now SUPERMAN fascinates me. I watched all the parts of the Superman that time. But the new movie is really well scripted and well directed too. Director Bryan Singer has done a fabulous job of getting Superman back. I never thought that after the Reeves accident I would ever get to see a new superman movie. But here I was with 110% satisfaction sitting and watching superman do his action. Many of my friends thought that it will be a poor movie BUT IT'S AN AWESOME MOVIE TO WATCH. And the bottom-line is that SUPERMAN is the best superhero of all time. Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor is good too.
For so many actors there was this superstitious thing attached with the superman costume. Actors were offered the superhero's job but they all refused to do it. It is said that whoever will wear the superman costume will have some bad luck coming his way. Top movie industry actors refused to wear the costume. I guess the red color is been turned to a little dark color. Anyway.....The director found this new kid on the block Brandon Routh from Smallville. And there it was the new Superman Movie. I was like jumping on my feet when saw the first appearance of the man of steel. I am 23 years of age. But I don't regret or deny the fact that I am superman fan. I don't care about the people whatever they speak about my behavior. They would call me immature or anything they want. But I like to watch Superman movies. That's me.
The Special effects of this movie are too good to be seen. Such kind of movies you need to watch only in the theatres. And also Lois Lane is good. The entire cast has acted superbly in this movie. I have started my expectations from a continuation for this movie. It's a must watch movie. Your ticket money will not be wasted for sure.

NANOBOTS in the future

"NANO" is a term which is refered to as very very small.I am not talking about the current century but i am talking about the year 4010.Theses Nanobots(nano robots) are going to be the future.Think that if you are feeling very sleepy and being a software engineer you have loads of targets to be completed.Now what will you do?Face your boss the next morning or drink coffee the whole night and try to complete the work?I bet on this that If you face your boss the next day your value will be going down like a WATERFALL and you are eventually going to get fired off one day.If you try the second method which is to stay awake and complete the work you will definitely take a nap in the morning and when your boss finds that You are FIRED.So both the techniques dont help us here.WE need something different.Something that could make our work more easier.
OK......its night 10 pm, LAZY thing will do only one thing CALL YOUR BEST FRIEND TO HELP IN.Hey......but sad thing is that he/she is sleeping or busy with some work.You then try on the internet to copy some code but its not there.Now what?All your roads are blocked.
Then you remember the NANOBOTS and you smile like GRINCH.You open the deep freezer.You take the injection from inside and inject these NANOBOTS inside your body.2nd step is to program them from your computer.You write a program to complete your given work and peacefully go to sleep.NANOBOTS will take control of your brain 100%.Actually you go to sleep but your fingers are still working on the laptop.You have programmed the NANOBOTS to complete the work and then self distruct in 5 seconds.
Ok ..good morning, the next day.You get ready to go to the office.Standing straight in front of your boss.Boss asks you about the work and you show him the file/data.He is highly impressed.The thing is that when these NANOBOTS had completed the work given last night they have given an input to your brain regarding the FILE/DATA storage path in your laptop.So, great you have impressed your boss.
And the suspense material over here is that your Boss could not sleep the whole night because of his BARKING DOG.And when he was with you in the office asking for your work completion he was actually sleeping.This person (your Boss) had programmed the NANOBOTS to work his whole day schedule.So it was the NANOBOTS that were controlling him.
OK the story is over. "MACHINES HAVE NO EMOTIONS".Yeah i agree with this.But NANOBOTS are not any other normal machines.They take full control of your brain,All the emotions are done.So think of your Boss's handshake with you,his smile after seeing your work,His eyes moving around.Can anyone imagine how big the code would be to program such NANOBOTS.Millions and millions of lines of coding ,thats the answer.Also think about the programmers who are going to be maintaining these things. Isn't this really cool...... if this could be reality one day?

Where are we going?

OK………where are going? I mean where are we heading towards in software. Are we just going to go on developing softwares? What has the future installed for us?
We can have a big debate on this until the day gets over. But don’t you think that software development is going to come to end. For this we need to think about the requirement for software. If no one requires softwares then why DEVELOP. Upgrades for a software are a must and will be an on-going process.
But, can you say with confidence that software requirement is not present in future. Yes , you can but for this you need to know the future clients or YOU NEED TO BE A FORTUNE TELLER (which is fun).
OK….for a wild idea can we design a software that would calculate the exact requirement of the future software clients ? Now, If we really design such a software then we will surely cross the wall of programming. Lets assume a future software named “DAVMIT v1.0”. This software can actually know the human behavior. Looking at the history of software development, davmit v1.0 will calculate the day and date of the requirement i.e. Davmit will know and will have all the data of software history in its log files till the current date. The algorithm that davmit uses is what we need to write and eventually the whole software. So do you think that such software can actually give us a FIXED TIME when the client will enter your Company? The word PROBABILTY is not in DAVMIT software. Davmit will not give you a probability count. It will actually tell you the exact right time when the client could contact you. Also ,the other way round is that you can enter the future date in davmit and actually know what the
client requirement. Think of the business a company can do using DAVMIT.
Obviously no small scale software firm can produce such a software. ONLY BIG GUNS CAN TRY SUCH A THING and not ALONE.
Such softwares like davmit can actually determine the way a client will THINK in the future. If you know today that your girl friend wants a pearl necklace tomorrow then its gut feeling , sixth sense, etc or you are a PHYSCHO in today’s world. What is a SIXTH SENSE? What is actually a gut feeling? The program that our brain follows when we have sixth sense could help us to build such a software like davmit. But not all gut feelings or sixth senses become true. But yeah sometime they do.
So can we know the ALGORITHM of the software development trend? Can we know the one trend that software development follows ? Once you know this it’s a piece of cake for you. Again as the topic says WHERE ARE WE GOING ? Who can answer this? Will the future software development be without a CLIENT. There is a fantastic term that is related to this …..
A.I –ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE. Many people just have a basic knowledge about AI .But if a real life model of AI is completed one day I am sure that, the brains behind AI will surely look into a software like DAVMIT. And who knows DAVMIT could be created and rule the future one day.

A.I--Artificial Intelligence

Many people have a rough sketch about what is AI. Well AI as above is an ARTFICIAL INTELLIGENCE. Artificial means manmade. Something made by human beings. Now intelligence is a total different concept. We always talk about a person’s IQ level. Ever wondered how this IQ level is calculated. A known fact is that the great scientist of our century Albert Eienstein had the best IQ ever. Yes…I know that he has created E=MC2 so he will definitely have the best IQ. Lets come to the point now, IQ is the rate at which intelligence develops and it varies from the age of a human. Intelligence is the key factor over here. So if we ask ourselves whether machines can have IQ? The answer is a NO at least for now. Nobody knows what the future has for us.
I have read it in an article that after World War II, a number of people independently started to work on intelligent machines. The English mathematician Alan Turing may have been the first to put the idea of AI. He gave a lecture on it in 1947. He also may have been the first to decide that AI was best researched by programming computers rather than by building machines. By the late 1950s, there were many researchers on AI, and most of them were basing their work on programming computers. So I think that we all should thank Alan Turing for giving us an idea of AI. We now have a different subject to talk on which is AI rather than the same old topics on softwares.
There is a very thin line between AI and human beings. Recently I read a news in an article that compared human brains with machines. The article said that to make a machine equal to that of a human brain we need a hard disk of the size of NEW YORK city. So imagine what a fantastic hard disk we have in our body and thank god that we don’t have to format it now and then. There are impulses that run through our brain when it functions. So as Alan Turing said we don’t need to build such machines but we surely need to code such type of programs. AI will be able to understand a human and work accordingly. Imagine that you program AI to do all your work and you sit with comfort and enjoy.
In one of my previous posts I have written about NANOBOTS. So now I have a name for my NANOBOTS, its AI –ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE. There is not more difference between my NANOBOTS and AI. But I guess my nanobots are pretty handy. I mean no external hardware present here when nanobots are working inside your body.

AI is surely going to play some important part in our lives in the future. But as the saying goes, ”Every coin has two sides”. Our AI is not going to be all LOVING, CARING, etc. Just the fact that AI is going to be similar to a human being gives me the creep. I mean if people have AI why the hell then they will need other people. If a machine walking and laughing with you obeys all your orders why would you need a wife that will be always behind. And the thing that your wife can do AI cannot. Also you need to program it first then it will work. But if you don’t know how to program or use it then AI will only be a piece of metal in your house. The above example is the fun part ,But think about the business point of view. If I am a BOSS of a software firm and instead of getting reasons like illness, etc from my employees, I will just buy some 10 AIs from the dealer and TA……TA…..TARAH all my work is done. No AI falls sick. Work is completed before the deadline. What more do you want?
Many movies have been made on AI as the subject. In fact the movie AI: Artificial Intelligence by Steven Spielberg in which the sixth sense fame child actor Haley Joel Osment played the leading role sure did speak about the AI in an human form. It was a fantastic movie. Ok…movies aside but there is one thing. As we humans are going to make AI. How can it replace us? Till the word ARTIFICIAL is attached with AI we are on the safe grounds. But when the word gets removed and only INTELLIGENCE remains then its bad for us.
But I still say that making an AI fully functional like a human being is IMPOSSIBLE. I know the thing that even the word IMPOSSIBLE says that ,”I M POSSIBLE” but look at the facts then you will understand that may what the AI can do ,it will never replace HUMANS. But when an AI will replace a human then it’s the DOOM DOORS opening for us.
